Fuel cell
Hydrogen vehicle uses fuel cell to produce electricity to power high voltage battery required to operate the traction inverter. Fuel cell doesn’t provide a constant voltage a DCDC converter required to match the battery voltage. DCDC converter acts as a link between fuel cell, HV battery and electric drive unit.
Fuel cell converter can be used to transfer high power between two different voltage levels.
Output power from few kW to 200kW Voltage range from 150 V-900 V
With Bi-directional power flow fuel cell can be operated in a control manner.
